about bob

hey, im bob, i study software engineering in a university in the south of england. i am 21 years old and absolutely love programming! my goal is spend this academic year learning the most out of my placement so when the time comes (post uni) i am prepared to get a fulltime job

for now i spend my spare time making mini projects and improving my skills. the current project im working on is an alternative to plane.so, aimed at being something i can and will use in my daily life to track projects

technologies

these are technologies i have an interest in or have some amount of knowledge in; js/ts, git/github, html/css, svelte/kit, pascal/delphi, react/next, postgres/sql, rust, c/c#, docker/kubernetes, and nginx

at the moment i am focusing my attention of learning rust at a level where i would be able to write a full api backend with websockets.

my favorite language to type out would be typescript or sql, i enjoy the complexity of relational databases as well as the simplicity and type safety of typescript. i am also currently really enjoying rust, its strict types and unusual syntax is refreshing and so far i am enjoying it deeply
